The real story behind Dickens’ A Christmas Carol—the story of Jacob Marley’s heroic behind-the-scenes efforts to save old Scrooge’s soul—and in the process, save his own. Aided by a Bogle, a malicious little hell-sprite with an agenda of his own, their hilarious journey takes them from the Jaws of Death to the Mouth of Hell—and beyond! This irreverent, funny, and ultimately, deeply moving story retells Dickens’ classic with warmth and infectious zest.

Auditions 7:30 pm on September 8th and 10th at Footlighters Theater, 58 Main Avenue, Berwyn, PA

The Director, Kirk Paul, is looking for 4 highly versatile, creative, and physical character actors (M/F — age range 25-70+) with talent for storytelling, to each play multiple roles in this new take on a Christmas classic.
This fresh look at Dickens’ Christmas Carol is told through Jacob Marley’s eyes, as we watch his heroic behind-the-scenes efforts to save old Scrooge’s soul—and, in the process, save his own.
This irreverent, funny and, ultimately, deeply moving story retells Dickens’ classic with warmth and infectious zest.
